A Rose Cut Diamond Ring Inspired by Shakespeare's Juliet
This unique rose-cut diamond ring is a handmade sterling silver engagement ring inspired by the enduring romance of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. At its center rests a petite rustic white rose cut diamond, chosen for its soft glow and antique character.
Unlike modern brilliant-cut diamonds, a rose cut diamond has a faceted domed surface and flat base that creates a subtle, candlelit sparkle reminiscent of antique jewelry and heirloom treasures. Rustic rose cut diamonds are included with tiny mineral deposits, causing the stone’s appearance to sometimes look a bit opaque, cloudy, smoky, or speckled, but they still exhibit sparkle and glow.
Hand-wrought from recycled sterling silver, the diamond is framed within a delicate rope halo and rests upon a graceful split-shank band. Every ring is made to order in your chosen size, making each piece uniquely yours.

Named for Shakespeare's tragic and defiant heroine in his play "Romeo and Juliet," I envision her wearing a small diamond ring like this, symbolizing both her love and strength in following her heart, and her unique view on defying the patriarchal and societal norms of Verona.
